Group Project 1: E-Commerce in Tanjong Malim Initiative
Description:
Tanjong Malim is an expanding community in Perak with mix of government servant, private and local. There are burst of business setting up companies catering to the people of Tanjong Malim, especially, UPSI's student community. There is a strong interest to expand the business by introducing new business model which use online business to reach a wider customers. Currently, there are no e-commerce initiative carry out in Tanjong Malim and the gap need to be address immediately in order for these business to survice in long term.
Task:
Your team are required to introduce an e-commerce initiative towards the business community in Tanjong Malim. Please chose a suitable web 2.0 application that you team thinks can be use to promote and sell products from the companies in Tanjong Malim. You team will do a business environment study of the e-commerce prospect in Tanjong Malim, before selecting a one or few companies to embark in this project. You team are expected to show that the e-commerce had the potential for the business to sustain their business. At the end of the semester your team need to give presentation on your project and make your report of not more than 3000 words using wiki.
Kumpulan kami memilih untuk melakukan projek E-Commerce bagi Kedai Buku.Kedai buku ini diuruskan oleh pengurus kedai sahaja. Memandangkan kedai ini tidak seberapa besar, maka pengurus kedai hanya menguruskannnya seorang diri sahaja. Kedai buku ini mempunyai cawangan yang lain iaitu di Kolej Harun Aminurrashid. Namun demikian, kami hanya memfokuskan proses promosi bagi kedai hadapan kampus Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris sahaja. Dengan adanya projek ini, kedai ini akan lebih dikenali dan mudah melakukan promosi kepada pelanggan mereka.
